1/19/2023 0 Comments Bliss dental![]() Air purifiers have been installed to reduce the chances of patients and staff coming in contact with airborne pollutants, including the COVID-19 virus. The staff will be wearing personal protective equipment, and it is recommended that patients wear masks as they enter and leave the office building. There will also be hand sanitizer available in the office, which patients will be asked to use. Only 2 patients are allowed at the same time in the waiting room. Staff members will also greet patients in the waiting room, where they will check the individual’s temperature. In addition to their normal infection control procedures, some of the new protocols that have been put into place include all patients answering screening questions while making their appointment over the phone and then answering the same questions again before they are allowed to enter the office. ![]() Gaertner and his staff follow these recommendations closely to ensure that they are up to date on any new rulings and guidelines that are recommended for public health. Gaertner has put into place were done following the recommendations of the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). ![]() The goal is to ensure that patients and staff are as safe and comfortable as possible while going through their dental exams and treatments. After being allowed to re-open during the current pandemic, they have put some new protocols in place. ![]() For patients who have gone to see Andy Gaertner, D.M.D, in the past, they will have seen the infection control processes that the office has always had in place. ![]()
